Philip is a member of Virtual Directors, a network of senior executives providing funding, interim management and advisory support to high potential SMEs. Philip has turned company operational and financial performance around. His background includes 30 years in marketing, sales and technology commercialisation and a period in the Government Secure Sector. Philip has operated as interim in small enterprises and their early stage financing and is interested in the development of software based enterprises with new ideas and products. He has a particular interest in software development productivity and quality.

Roles have included Board Director, Consultant Advisor to Several Boards of Directors, Project Director of Alliances and Partnerships at Cisco EMEA. Philip is an advisor and has been a shareholder in several early stage technology businesses where he has often specialised in devising business models, marketing channels and selling propositions and has supported these activities with a sound knowledge of contracts, marketing campaigns and often field sales.
